If you don’t smoke, don’t start.
If you smoke, quit.
If you don’t quit, then what?
Millions of smokers around the world are giving up cigarettes and switching to less harmful alternatives.
Australians are denied that option.
Everyone knows smoking causes lung cancer and other smoking-related diseases. Yet almost 3 million Australian adults still smoke:
that’s 14 per cent of the population, a number that has stayed “relatively similar” since 2014, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Around the world, 1.1 billion people continue to smoke. According to the World Health Organisation, that number won’t change by 2025.
We can change that. We can unsmoke our world.
The best choice any smoker can make, is to quit cigarettes and nicotine altogether. For those that don’t and would otherwise continue smoking,
they should not be denied access to less harmful alternatives.
It’s the smoke that’s the main problem, not the smokers.
It’s time for friends, family and colleagues to come together. To inspire each other. To help each other.
Together we can change the law in Australia and catch up to the rest of the world by legalising smoke-free products.
Help Unsmoke the World by signing the petition, and let’s make it sooner rather than later.
